Silvassa is a town on the Daman Ganga river in western India, bordering the state of Gujarat. Lion Safari park is a major attraction in Silvassa. The lion safari park is enclosed in the 92 sq. km. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Wildlife Sanctuary with a wall built around it. Visitors are driven in jeeps with mesh on windows to admire the Asiatic lions.

Satmaliya Deer Park is home to Chinkara, Blackbucks, and spotted deer. The park is situated close to the Vasona Lion Safari and is a very popular picnic spot.
Best Time To Visit Silvassa

Silvassa has a tropical climate with warm weather year-round and a rainy season from June to September. Temperatures peak in May. A popular time to visit is October to January when temperatures are slightly cooler and it's relatively dry.
