Located towards the northeast, it is about 46 km away from the capital city Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Best Time To Visit Sanchi

The Winter season from October to March is the best time to visit Sanchi, as summer can be unbearably hot. The temperature tends to go up to 45°C. Monsoon is also a good time to visit, but it might hamper traveling within the city.
