Lunglei – Bridge of Rock

Lunglei, sometimes spelled Lungleh, literally meaning 'bridge of rock' got its name from a bridge-like rock found in the riverine area around Nghasih a small tributary of the river Tlawng.
Serkawn

Serkawn is a village within Lunglei Administrative Block, Mizoram, India. It is continuous with Lunglei within 1 km area. It is 107 km from the state capital Aizawl. The place chosen by British missionaries, it is the home of Christianity and formal education in southern Mizoram.
Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary

Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary is home to so many wildlife animals like wild boar, hoolock, and gibbon, serow, barking deer, sambar deer, and leopard. Memorial of Chhingpui

Raised to the memory of a young woman called Chhingpuii who was exceedingly beautiful, it is situated between Baktawng and Chhingchhip villages on the Aizawl Lunglei Road.
Best Time To Visit Lunglei

Located at an average elevation, Lunglei experiences a moderate type of climate and hence, the temperature remains bearable throughout the year, thereby, making it a year-round destination. However, if you are looking to enjoy the best of the natural beauty of the town, then the best time to visit Lunglei is from September to the end of April.
