Private Taxis (Alfonsinos): Much more expensive (₹3,500–₹6,000 per intercity trip) but offer door-to-door service, AC, and the flexibility to stop for photos along the way. Highly recommended for families or groups of 3-4.

Accommodation Strategy

Casas Particulares: Look for the blue anchor or red triangle icon on doors. These are licensed private homestays. They are safe, clean, and offer a far better experience than state hotels.
