The Consulate of South Africa in Mumbai processes tourist visa applications for residents of the following states. Submit your application at the VFS Global Mumbai centre — the primary application centre for West India applicants.

Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/zaf → click "Book an Appointment" → select Mumbai as your centre. If no slots are visible, check back early morning — slots are released daily at around 8:00 AM IST.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add premium services for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre. You will also receive it by email and SMS.
Arrive 15 minutes early at 9th Floor, Urmi Estate, Lower Parel. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, downloaded application form, and full document set. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.

Drop-off on Ganpatrao Kadam Marg, Lower Parel. Paid parking available within Urmi Estate premises. Ola/Uber drop-off directly at the building entrance.
Look for Urmi Estate on Ganpatrao Kadam Marg in the heart of Lower Parel. The building is a prominent commercial complex in the mill district.
Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones, cameras, lighters, and bags are not permitted inside — leave them in your vehicle or with a companion.
You can submit your application at any VFS centre across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Consulate covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
