The Embassy of Denmark in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents of All of India. Submit your application at the VFS Global Kolkata centre for convenient local submission, regardless of your home state.
Note: Applicants are free to use any VFS Global centre in India. The visa decision is made by the Embassy of Denmark in New Delhi, not the VFS centre where you apply. Always confirm your applicable centre on visa.vfsglobal.com before booking.

Before booking a VFS appointment, complete your application via the VFS Global Denmark portal ↗ and download the signed form. VFS Kolkata requires this form at the time of submission.
Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/dnk → click "Book an Appointment" → select Kolkata as your centre.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Prime Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre.
Arrive 15 minutes early at Rene Tower, Rajdanga Main Road. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport (min. 6 months validity, 2 blank pages), downloaded application form, and full document set. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.
Processing insights are observational and based on general applicant experience. Actual timelines depend on Embassy workload and seasonal factors. Standard processing is typically 15 working days.
