The Embassy of France in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents of the following states and union territories. Submit your application at the VFS Global Delhi centre — the primary application centre for North India applicants.
Note: Jurisdiction assignments are based on your registered residential address in India. Always confirm your applicable centre on visa.vfsglobal.com before booking your appointment.

Before booking a VFS appointment, complete your application on france-visas.gouv.fr ↗ and download the signed form with barcode. VFS Delhi requires this form at the time of submission — you cannot submit without it. For the full document checklist, see the France tourist visa document checklist →
Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/fra → click "Book an Appointment" → select New Delhi as your centre. If no slots are visible, check back early morning — slots are released daily at around 8:00 AM IST.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Prime Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre. You will also receive it by email and SMS.
Arrive 15 minutes early at VFS Global House, 27 KG Marg, Connaught Place. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, downloaded France-Visas form, and full document set. Visa fee (payable at centre) confirmed at the counter. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.

Nearest stations: Rajiv Chowk (Blue/Yellow Line) — 5-minute walk, and Barakhamba Road (Blue Line) — 3-minute walk. Both are well-connected from across NCR.
Drop-off on KG Marg, Connaught Place. Paid parking available at Palika Bazaar underground parking (2-min walk). Ola/Uber drop-off directly on KG Marg.
Look for VFS Global House on KG Marg in the heart of Connaught Place (CP). Barakhamba Road Metro station is a 3-minute walk. Palika Bazaar is directly adjacent.
Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones, cameras, lighters, and bags are not permitted inside — leave them in your vehicle or with a companion.
You can submit your application at any of the 16 VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Consulate covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
