The Embassy of Spain in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents of the following states and union territories. Submit your application at the BLS International Delhi centre — the primary application centre for North India applicants.
Note: Jurisdiction assignments are based on your registered residential address in India. Always confirm your applicable centre on blsindia.com before booking your appointment.
★ Gold services are optional paid add-ons. They do not affect visa decision speed or approval outcome.
Visit blsindia.com/spainvisa/india/ ↗ and create an applicant profile. Fill out the online application form accurately and print the completed form with the barcode. BLS Delhi requires this at the time of submission.
Log into your BLS dashboard → choose "Book an Appointment" → select New Delhi. Slots open dynamically based on centre capacity. Check the portal regularly, as availability changes frequently without a fixed daily refresh time.
Pick your preferred date and time. If applying as a family, group all applicants under one booking. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Prime Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Complete the online payment for VFS service charges and any optional services. Download and print your appointment confirmation — you must present this physically at the centre. You will also receive email/SMS confirmation.
Arrive 15 minutes early at Dr Gopaldas Bhawan, 28 Barakhamba Road. Carry: printed confirmation, original passport, application form with barcode, photos, financial proofs, travel insurance, itinerary, and accommodation details. Consular fees are payable at the centre. Biometrics are enrolled during the visit.
Processing insights are observational and based on general applicant experience. Actual timelines depend on Embassy workload, individual application complexity, and seasonal factors. For current processing times see Spain visa processing time by centre →
Nearest station: Barakhamba Road (Blue Line) — 3-minute walk. Autos and e-rickshaws are readily available outside station exits. Rajiv Chowk is a 12-minute walk away.
Drop-off directly on Barakhamba Road. Paid parking available at nearby commercial lots. Ola/Uber drop-off at the main entrance of Dr Gopaldas Bhawan.
Look for Dr Gopaldas Bhawan on Barakhamba Road in central Connaught Place area. The centre occupies the Upper Ground Floor. Security desk is clearly marked.
Carry your printed BLS appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones, large bags, and unauthorized documents are not permitted inside — use secure lockers or leave them outside.
You can submit your application at any BLS centre across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Consulate covering your registered state of residence — not the BLS centre where you apply.
