Magellan’s Cross

Iconic landmark – a cross planted by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan in 1521. Housed in a small chapel next to Basilica Minore del Santo Niño. Free entry.

Oldest Roman Catholic church in the Philippines (built 1565). Houses the Santo Niño statue (child Jesus). A pilgrimage site. Free entry, modest dress required (cover shoulders/knees).

Kawasan Falls (Badian)

Turquoise multi‑tiered waterfall famous for canyoneering. Adventure: jump off cliffs, swim through canyons, and slide down natural rock slides. Canyoneering fee: PHP 1,500–2,000 (guide, gear, lunch). Allow full day. Combine with Moalboal for a 2‑day trip.

Moalboal & Panagsama Beach

Bantayan Island
