Before booking a VFS appointment, complete your application on visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/bgr ↗ and download the signed form. VFS Chandigarh requires this form at the time of submission.
Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/bgr → click "Book an Appointment" → select Chandigarh as your centre. If no slots are visible, check back early morning — slots are released daily.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Prime Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre.
Arrive 15 minutes early at the Elante Offices, Industrial & Business Park, Phase - I location. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport (6 months validity, 2 blank pages), downloaded application form, and full document set. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.
Drop-off directly at Elante Offices, Industrial & Business Park, Phase - I. Ola/Uber drop-off is convenient at the main entrance. The VFS centre is on the Second Floor, Office Block B.
Accessible via Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) buses. Nearest major bus stops are in Sector 17 or ISBT, followed by a short auto-rickshaw ride to Elante Offices in Phase - I.
Look for Elante Offices in the Industrial & Business Park, Phase - I. Entry is specifically from Gate No. 3, Unit No. B 209, Second Floor, Office Block B.
Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones, cameras, and large bags are not permitted inside — leave them in your vehicle or with a companion.
You can submit your application at any of the VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Embassy covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
