The Consulate General of France in Mumbai processes tourist visa applications for residents of the following states and union territories. Submit your application at the VFS Global Pune centre — the primary application centre for Western Maharashtra applicants under this jurisdiction.

Before booking a VFS appointment, complete your application on france-visas.gouv.fr ↗ and download the signed form with barcode. VFS Pune requires this form at the time of submission — you cannot submit without it.
Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/fra → click "Book an Appointment" → select Pune as your centre. If no slots are visible, check back early morning — slots are released daily at around 8:00 AM IST.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Prime Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre.
Arrive 15 minutes early. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, downloaded France-Visas form, and full document set. Visa fee is payable at the centre. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.
