The Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents across India, as it is the sole diplomatic mission handling Hungary Schengen visas in the country. However, applicants residing in the following states typically submit through the VFS Global Mumbai centre.
Note: Jurisdiction assignments are based on your registered residential address in India. Always confirm your applicable centre on visa.vfsglobal.com before booking your appointment.

Before booking a VFS appointment, complete your application on the official Hungary visa portal or VFS website and download the signed form. VFS Mumbai requires this form at the time of submission.
Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/hun → click "Book an Appointment" → select Mumbai as your centre. If no slots are visible, check back early morning — slots are released daily.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Courier Service for added convenience at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre. You will also receive it by email and SMS.
Arrive 15 minutes early at 1st Floor, Trade Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, downloaded application form, and full document set. Visa fee is payable at the centre. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.

Nearest stations: Kurla (Harbour Line) or Bandra (Western Line). Both are well-connected and a short auto-rickshaw ride away from the VFS centre.
Drop-off directly at the Trade Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Paid parking is available within the BKC complex. Ola/Uber drop-offs are convenient at the main entrance.

Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones, cameras, lighters, and bags are not permitted inside — leave them in your vehicle or with a companion.
You can submit your application at any of the VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
