The Embassy of Denmark (handling Iceland Affairs) in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents of the following states and union territories. Submit your application at the VFS Global Lucknow centre — the primary application centre for All India applicants.

Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/isl → click "Book an Appointment" → select Lucknow as your centre. If no slots are visible, check back early morning — slots are released daily at around 8:00 AM IST.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Prime Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre. You will also receive it by email and SMS.
Arrive 15 minutes early at VFS Global 1st Floor, Alambagh Bus stand. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, downloaded application form, and full document set. Visa fee (payable at centre) confirmed at the counter. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.

Nearest railway station: Lucknow Charbagh (LKO) or Lucknow Junction (LJN), well-connected to major cities. The VFS centre is conveniently located at the Alambagh Bus stand, which is a major transit hub for intercity buses and local transport.

Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones, cameras, lighters, and bags are not permitted inside — leave them in your vehicle or with a companion.
You can submit your application at any of the VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Embassy of Denmark covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
