The Consulate General of Portugal in Goa processes tourist visa applications exclusively for permanent residents of Goa. Submit your application at the VFS Global Goa centre in Patto Plaza, Panaji.
Note: Jurisdiction assignments are strictly based on your permanent residential address. Applicants from outside Goa fall under the Embassy of Portugal in New Delhi. Always confirm your applicable centre on vfsglobal.com/portugal/india/ before booking your appointment.
Centre Operational Details: The Portugal Visa Application Centre in Goa is located at Gera Imperium Star, 5th Floor, Patto Plaza. Operates Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 15:00. Verify on VFS website →

Fill out the Schengen visa application on the VFS/Consulate portal. Print, sign, and bring the completed form with your appointment.
Go to vfsglobal.com/portugal/india/ → select Goa as your centre. Check back around 10:00 AM IST for new slot releases.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Weekday Prime-Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre.
Arrive 15 minutes early. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, signed application form, and full document set. Visa fee is payable at the counter. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.

Patto Plaza is a major transit hub in Panaji, well-connected by Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) buses and Panchayat buses. Autos and taxis are readily available from the Patto bus stand.
Drop-off at Gera Imperium Star, Patto Plaza. Ample paid parking available within the commercial complex. Ola/Uber drop-off directly at the main entrance.
Located inside Gera Imperium Star at Patto Plaza, Panaji. The building is easily identifiable near the Patto junction commercial zone.
Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Proceed to the 5th Floor. Mobile phones and large bags may need to be stored outside security.
You can submit your application at any of the 12 VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Consulate covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
