The Embassy of Portugal in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents of all Indian states and union territories, except Goa. Submit your application at the VFS Global Hyderabad centre — a primary application centre for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh applicants.
Note: Jurisdiction assignments are based on your permanent residential address. Applicants from Goa fall under the Consulate General of Portugal in Goa. Always confirm your applicable centre on vfsglobal.com/portugal/india/ before booking your appointment.

Fill out the Schengen visa application on the VFS/Embassy portal. Print, sign, and bring the completed form with your appointment.
Go to vfsglobal.com/portugal/india/ → select Hyderabad as your centre. Check back around 10:00 AM IST for new slot releases.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Weekday Prime-Time slots for priority processing at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre.
Arrive 15 minutes early at the Lower Concourse level. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, signed application form, and full document set. Visa fee is payable at the counter. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.

The VAC is located directly inside Punjagutta Metro Station (Blue Line) on the Lower Concourse. No external walking required from the station exit. Highly recommended due to heavy traffic in the Punjagutta area.
Drop-off at Punjagutta Metro Station entrance. Limited street parking available nearby. Ola/Uber drop-off directly at the station gate is the most reliable option.
Located inside Punjagutta Metro Station on Punjagutta Road. Look for station signage and proceed to the Lower Concourse level.
Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones and large bags may need to be stored outside security.
You can submit your application at any of the 12 VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Consulate covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
