Lake Nakuru National Park
One of Kenya's most famous parks, renowned for its massive flocks of lesser and greater flamingos that paint the shoreline pink, though populations fluctuate with water levels.
- Rhino Sanctuary: One of Africa's most successful black rhino breeding and reintroduction programs. It is one of the most reliable places to see rhinos in Kenya.
- Wildlife: Besides rhinos and flamingos, expect to see Rothschild giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, lions, and leopards (often spotted in the fever trees).
- Best time: Early morning or late afternoon for optimal game viewing and bird photography.
