The Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents across India, as it is the sole diplomatic mission handling Hungary Schengen visas in the country. However, applicants residing in the following states and union territories typically submit through the VFS Global Kochi centre.

Before booking a VFS appointment, complete your application on the official Hungary visa portal or VFS website and download the signed form. VFS Kochi requires this form at the time of submission.
Go to visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/hun → click "Book an Appointment" → select Kochi as your centre. If no slots are visible, check back early morning — slots are released daily.
Choose your preferred slot. If travelling as a family, book all applicants under one appointment group. Optionally add Premium Lounge or Courier Service for added convenience at an additional fee.
Pay the VFS service charge online and any optional service fees. Save and print your appointment confirmation — you must carry this to the centre. You will also receive it by email and SMS.
Arrive 15 minutes early at 1st Floor, Coastal Chambers (Manoj Tower), Ravipuram M G Road. Carry: appointment confirmation, original passport, downloaded application form, and full document set. Visa fee is payable at the centre. Biometrics are enrolled on the same visit.

Auto-rickshaws and app-based cabs (Ola/Uber) are the most convenient way to reach the VFS centre on MG Road. Drop-off is directly available outside Coastal Chambers (Manoj Tower).
Nearest Kochi Metro stations are Maharaja's College or Ernakulam South, both within a 10–15 minute walk or short auto ride. KSRTC buses frequently stop at Ravipuram or MG Road.

Carry your printed appointment confirmation for entry. Mobile phones, cameras, lighters, and bags are not permitted inside — leave them in your vehicle or with a companion.
You can submit your application at any of the VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
