The Embassy of Italy in New Delhi processes tourist visa applications for residents of the following states and union territories. Submit your application at the VFS Global Delhi centre — the primary application centre for North India applicants.
Note: Jurisdiction assignments are based on your registered residential address in India. Always confirm your applicable centre on vfsglobal.com before booking your appointment.

Fill out the Italy Schengen visa application on the official portal or VFS booking site. Download and sign the printed form. You cannot submit at VFS Delhi without it.
Go to vfsglobal.com/italy/india → select New Delhi. If slots aren't visible, refresh around 09:00 AM IST when capacity updates.
Choose your slot. Group family members under one booking if travelling together. Add optional services like Premium Lounge or Courier if required.
Pay the VFS service charge and optional fees securely online. Print or save the appointment confirmation email/SMS — it is mandatory for entry.
Arrive 15 minutes early at Shivaji Stadium Metro Concourse Level. Carry your appointment slip, original passport, signed form, and complete document set. Consular fee is payable at the centre. Biometrics are captured onsite.

Shivaji Station (Airport Express Line) is directly above the centre. Rajiv Chowk (Blue/Yellow Line) is a 7-minute walk. Both connect seamlessly across NCR.
Use Ola/Uber to drop off at Connaught Place, Block H or G. Paid parking is available at Janpath market or Hanuman Road lots. Allow 5 extra minutes for security checks.
Located inside Shivaji Stadium Metro Concourse. Look for VFS Global signage near the ticketing gates. Easily identifiable from CP main circle.
Carry your printed appointment confirmation. Mobile phones, cameras, and large bags are not permitted inside the VAC. Use cloakrooms nearby if available.
You can submit your application at any of the VFS centres across India regardless of your home city. The visa decision is made by the Consulate covering your registered state of residence — not the VFS centre where you apply.
