Day 1
Arrival Cairo
Arrival at Cairo international airport, meeting and assistance through passports and customs formalities by our representative.
Day 2
Pyramids, Sphinx – Sleeping Train
In the morning, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be met by our representative, start a visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika and High Dam. Transfer to your Nile Cruise for check-in and enjoy the lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight.
Day 3
Train - Aswan - Cruise
Have breakfast buffet and sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and Haerories followed by sailing to Edfu. Enjoy lunch and Dinner on board and overnight.
Day 4
Aswan – Kom Embo – Edfu
Today you have a chance to explore the Temple of Horus at Edfu and Visit Horus Temple, and then sail to Esna and follow sailing to Luxor at around sunset. Your Egyptologist will guide you around the Temple of Luxor and then onwards to the Temple of Karnak. Enjoy lunch and Dinner on board and overnight. NOTE: Sound light show in Karnak ( optional at your own cost).
Day 5
Edfu – Luxor
Disembarkation after breakfast buffet, then visit the Valley of the Kings. You will also have the chance to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back to the river Nile, you will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn After that, proceed to Luxor airport. Dinner and overnight on board of sleeping train to Cairo.
Day 6
West Bank – Sleeping Train
Arrive at Cairo Station and start your tour by visiting the sole surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, Giza’s Pyramids, and the surrounding area. Arrive early if you want to get one of the limited tickets to visit their interiors. Visit the 3 pyramids and the Sphinx from outside. After as much walking and exploring as you like. Visit Egyptian Museum, our Egyptologist guide will give you a private introduction to the collection, from little-known but important objects to pieces that have amazed the world, like the priceless treasures of Tut ankh amun. Then move to the Papyrus and Perfume Shop. You will then be driven to your hotel and overnight.
Day 7
Cairo
Breakfast at your hotel, then start your tour in Cairo by visiting Old Cairo Churches, synagogue Citadel of Salah El Din, Mohamed Ali Mosque. Lunch at an Indian restaurant. Then visit Khan El Khalili bazaar for shopping. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 8
Final Departure
Breakfast at your hotel after which transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight back to your home.
