Itinerary
Day 1
Seoul
After arrival, your guide will greet you as soon as you come out of the baggage claim area and drive you to N Seoul Tower one of the representative landmarks and multi-cultural venues in Seoul. Then visit Namsan Hanok Village to see the beauty of authentic Korean traditional architecture. Afterward, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in.
Day 2
Seoul
After breakfast, you will depart early for Geyongbokgung Palace, which is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces. Next, we move to Changdeok Palace; located within, the rear garden, known as a place of rest for the kings, was kept as natural as possible. Then we will take walk around Bukchon Hanok Village and Insadong street seeing several traditional Hanok homes and stores that sell antique art crafts. Next, move to Gwangjang Food Market, the nation’s first market and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. Before heading back to the hotel, we will come to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) where holds various exhibitions, fashion shows, forums, conferences, and other domestic and international events.
Day 3
Andong
After breakfast, you will get an early pick-up in the morning and transfer to Andong to visit Hahoe Village. Hahoe Village was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List under the category of “Historic Villages in Korea”. Before you getting far too fascinated by the breathtaking scenery the Hahoe village offers, we will depart for Gyeongju and make a stop at Anapji pond. Anapji means "Goose and Duck Lake." After the tour, you will check in the hotel and overnight in Gyeongju.
Day 4
Gyeongju
Today we will start off by visiting Bulguksa Temple, the representative relic of Gyeongju and was designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO. Next, continue to Seokguram Grotto, which is known to have been built with Bulguksa Temple. According to the history book Samgukyusa of the Goryeo Dynasty, Kim Dae-Seong had Bulguksa Temple built for his parents in his current life, and Seokguram Grotto for the parents of his former life. After visiting Daereungwon Tomb, we will transfer to Busan, and before we head back to the hotel in Busan, you can feel romance watching the night view of Ibagu Gill and Gwangandaegyo Bridge.
Day 5
Busan
Today, we will explore Busan, starting by visiting Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan. Next, we will move to Gamcheon Culture Villiage which is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname of "Machu Picchu of Busan." No visit to Busan is complete without a stop at the traditional Gukje International Market, followed by an exciting exploration of the enormous Jalgalchi Fish Market. Both markets teem with fascinating products and are a great way to glimpse local life.
Day 6
Tongyeong
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Tongyeong, a coastal city in South Gyeongsang Province. You will first reach the peak of Mt. Mireuksan by cable car and enjoy the spectacular panoramic mountain view. Next, visit Dongpirang Mural Village; this hillside village on the sea became a new place, revitalized by the art. After that, transfer to Yeosu and stay overnight.
Day 7
Suncheon
After breakfast, you will visit Suncheonman Bay Wetland, the biggest colony of reeds in Korea. Next, transfer to Naganeupseong Folk Village, located in Jeollanam-do Province, and contains a town castle that has been very well preserved. You can observe the daily dwellings indigenous to the south provincial area such as the kitchen area, the clay rooms, and Korean-style verandas. Then, we will pay a visit to Songgwangsa Temple, which qualifies as a seungbo temple, which refers to the disciples and practitioners of Buddhism at the temple. Afterward, transfer to Namwon, and stay overnight.
Day 8
Damyang & Jeonju
After breakfast, transfer to Damyang, well known for its local products including bamboo goods and strawberries. Led by your guide, you will first visit Sunchang Village (if time allows), then come to Juknokwon Bamboo Garden, a Bamboo Garden featuring a beautiful artificial waterfall, pavilion, walking paths, and an eco-exhibition center, a popular destination for visitors. Then, continue to Metasequoia-lined Road, you’ll come across a beautiful and exotic boulevard that looks like it is coming straight out of a fairytale. Afterward, transfer to Jeonju, and stay overnight.
Day 9
Seoul
Transfer to Seoul from Jeonju. Free time at leisure. Overnight in Seoul.
Day 10
Transfer to Seoul from Jeonju for departure to Incheon Airport.
