Bekal Fort
Bekal Fort is the largest fort in Kerala, Bekal Fort was primarily a military stronghold in the Malabar area, This historic monument offers a superb view of the Arabian Sea from its tall observation towers, which were occupied by gigantic cannons till a few centuries ago.
Chandragiri Fort
Chandragiri Fort offers a breathtaking view of the Chandragiri river joining the Arabian Sea. The fort is also a vantage point to watch the sunset.

Nileswaram is a cultural center where the Department of Archaeology runs the traditional knowledge center. The place is adjoining the backwaters and deltas offering a magnificent view to its visitors.
Kappil Beach

The best time to visit Bekal is from October to March as the weather remains cool and dry during this time of the year. The weather remains hot and humid as the temperature reaches as high as 36°C.
