Crescent-shaped Radhanagar Beach is a popular spot for watching the sunset. On the island’s east side, rocky sections mark long, tree-lined Vijaynagar Beach. The island's forested interior is home to birdlife such as white-headed mynas and woodpeckers.

Best Time To Visit Havelock Island
Havelock Island has a tropical climate and is warm and humid year-round, though sea breezes have a cooling effect. January to April is a popular time to visit, when rainfall is moderate or low. The main monsoon season runs May to September. Subhash Mela is a week-long festival celebrating Indian nationalist Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, with cultural events and food. The Island Tourism Festival is largely based in the Andamans’ capital, Port Blair, but some events spill over to Havelock Island.
