About Perth

Perth, the capital of Western Australia, sits where the Swan River meets the southwest coast. Sandy beaches line its suburbs, and the huge, riverside Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Mt. Eliza offer sweeping views of the city. The Perth Cultural Centre houses the state ballet and opera companies and occupies its own central precinct, including a theatre, art galleries, and the Western Australian Museum. The shoreline north of Perth is known as the Sunset Coast. It's home to family-friendly Cottesloe Beach, popular snorkeling site Marmion Marine Park and Trigg Beach, with large waves for surfing.
Fremantle Prison

Fremantle Prison also referred to as Fremantle Gaol or Fremantle Jail, is a former Australian prison and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Fremantle. The six-hectare site includes the prison cellblocks, gatehouse, perimeter walls, cottages, and tunnels. The Prison was built by convicts in 1850 and was used as a place of incarceration for almost 140 years.

Bibbulmun Track

The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world's great long-distance walk trails and it runs from Kalamunda in the east of Perth to Albany and is 1003.1 kilometres long. The name comes from the Bibbulmun, or Noongar people, Indigenous Australians from the Perth area. The track consists of 58 sections and is marked at regular intervals with triangular signs, most of which have a symbol of the Wagyl.

Stirling Gardens

Stirling Gardens is a small public park in Perth, located on the corner of St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street, west of the Government House and north of the Supreme Court buildings, it contains a group of significant sculpture items. It is one of a series of landscape features that are classified by the National Trust.
Cohunu Koala Park

Swan Valley

Swan Valley is a region in the upper reaches of the Swan River between Guildford and Bells Rapids and is known as the oldest wine growing region of Western Australia. These include numerous wineries such as the huge complex at Houghton, the state's biggest producer, and Sandalford and also many small family-owned concerns. There are also several microbreweries and rum distilleries. The Swan Valley is served by roadside local-produce stalls that sell seasonal produce throughout the year such as grapes, melons, asparagus, stone fruits, citrus, and strawberries.
Hillarys Boat Harbour

Hillarys Boat Harbour is a marina and tourist precinct located in Hillarys, north of Perth. It is one of Western Australia’s top award-winning tourist attractions offering a wide appeal of daytime and nightlife entertainment. Visitors can enjoy leisure and adventure activities such as boat cruises, seasonal whale watching, jet skiing, deep-sea fishing, diving, jet boarding, and helicopter flights. There are a great variety of bespoke art and souvenir shops, cocktail bars, fine-dining, and family-friendly restaurants.
Elizabeth Quay

Elizabeth Quay is named in honor of Queen Elizabeth II during her Diamond Jubilee. It is the perfect place to relax, dine, and play. You will find the island playground, the BHP Billiton Water Park, public artwork, promenades, open spaces, and a range of bars and restaurants. Other activities to be enjoyed in the area include Segways, Little Ferry Co, Gondola on the Swan or just take a leisurely stroll alongside the river or stop for a selfie on the bridge.
John Forrest National Park

John Forrest National Park is one of Australia's oldest conservation areas and a national park in the Darling Scarp, 24 km east of Perth. John Forrest National Park has several walk trail options that cater to different abilities and fitness levels and all walks start at the main picnic area. The lookout point on the scenic drive offers a wide variety of attractions and facilities that make it a popular venue for families and groups.
