Chittoor is a city and district headquarters in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the Mandal and divisional headquarters of Chittoor Mandal and Chittoor revenue division, respectively.
Horsley Hills

Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary
Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary and an elephant reserve situated in Andhra Pradesh. It is the only sanctuary in Andhra Pradesh with a population of Asian elephants, which migrated after 200 years from neighboring regions.
Kalavagunta Temple
Kalavagunta temple is surrounded by a prakara pierced with a gopura on the south. The main shrine of Mukkantisvara oriented to the east consists of a plan square garbhagriha, an antarala in two compartments, and a mukhamandapa.
Gurramkonda Fort
Gurramkonda is a Hill-Fort town whose historical name was Zafarabad. It hosted over forty mosques, all since destroyed. One Sufi saint named Hazrath Shah Kamal came from Kirman of Old Persia and settled here. He taught Islam to the locals, spreading it throughout the village and its surroundings.
Nagari Hills
Nagari hill is the highest cliff of the hills is called Nagari Nose because it resembles a human nose and it is at a height of 855 m from the sea level. This cliff, which lies about 7km north of Nagari is popularly known as the "Nagari Murkonda".The town of Nagari is based on the riverbank of Kusasthali.
Sri Venkateswara Temple
Sri Venkateswara Temple is a landmark Vaishnavite temple situated in the hill town of Tirumala at Tirupati in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Sri Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu, who is believed to have appeared here to save mankind from the trials and troubles of Kali Yuga.
Sri kapileswara Swamy Temple
Shri Kapila Theertham is a famous Saivite Temple and Theertham, located at Tirupati in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, India. The idol is believed to be installed by Kapila Muni and hence Lord Siva here is referred to as Kapileswara.
Ramagiri Temple
Ramagiri Temple also known as Bhairava Kshethra, meaning Lord Bhairava home. It is popular among tourists due to the existence of ancient temples. One of these temples is located at the foot of the hill and is devoted to Lord Shiva. Another temple is dedicated to Lord Muruga, which is present on top of the hill.

Kailasakona Waterfalls
Kailasanatha Kona is located in Narayanavanam Mandal, Chittor District, Andhra Pradesh. Kailasantha Kona is well known as a Kaliasa Kona. A temple of Lord Shiva and Parvathi is seen nearby. This waterfall is having a height of around 40 feet.
Best Time To Visit Chitoor
Chitoor is located in Andhra Pradesh state. The best time to visit Chittoor is from November to April. Winter and monsoon is the best season to visit Chittoor. In winters, the weather stays warm and pleasant and it receives low to average rainfall in monsoon, making the weather enjoyable. However, summers are very hot and humid in this season.
