Puttaparthi is a town in the Anantapur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Puttaparthi Mandal of the Kadiri revenue division. The original name of Puttaparthi was Gollapalli.
Sri Sathya Sai Space Theatre
Sri Sathya Sai Space Theatre was inaugurated in 1985 by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Located in the Vidyagiri Educational Institution campus at Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi, this Planetarium is the only one between Bangalore and Hyderabad in this part of India.
Chaitanya Jyoti Museum

Sri Sathya Sai Temple
In 1944, a mandir for Sai Baba's devotees was built near the village of Puttaparthi. It is now referred to as the "old mandir".

Puttaparthi is a town in Andhra Pradesh, renowned because of a famous Hindu Saint Sathya Sai. The best time to visit Puttaparthi is from September to February. The Winter season is pleasant and mild along with the monsoon. The town receives average rainfall in the monsoon. Summers are very hot and are recommended to be avoided.
