The construction was completed in 1982 and it was named after Vithalbhai Patel, the first Indian speaker of Central Legislative Assembly. Vithalbhai Patel was an Indian legislator and political leader, co-founder of the Swaraj Party, and elder brother of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Best Time To Visit Gandhinagar
Gandhinagar is very hot and dry for most of the year, with a period of high rainfall during the monsoon season from July to September. The Winter season from December to February is dry and warm, and among the most popular times to visit.
