Morni Hills is the only hill station in Haryana which is located in the Panchkula district. It is located 45 kilometers away from Chandigarh. It is the offshoot of the Shivalik range of the Himalayas. It is 4000 feet above sea level. The hill station is named after a Queen, who once reigned over there. It is a small village full of natural beauty. The climate of Morni Village is quite cool and comfortable. This hill station is very well known for its adventure and sports. This whole area is surrounded by beautiful mountains and waterfalls.
Tikkar Taal
Tikkar Taal is a place surrounding a lake and Shivalik hill, it is a hill station and a weekend gateway of Chandigarh.
Morni Fort
There is an old fort in the Morni area and the hills are covered by pine trees and are popular trekking locations.
Thakurdwara Temple
A hidden treasure of the Morni hills is the Thakur-dwar temple, a modest structure built at the site of a 10th Century AD temple on the bank of the Tikkartal.
Adventure Park
Adventure Park at Tikkar Taal, around 50 km from Chandigarh, was set up by Haryana Tourism to promote adventure tourism in the Shivalik hills.
Bhoot Banglow
It has various types of adventure swings. It is a theme park which is not so scary. It is a good time pass and enjoyable activity for the kids.
Shiv Temple
A colorful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is adjacent to the fort and stands out amidst the gloomy surroundings presented by the fort.

The best time to visit Morni Hills is from the month of September to the month of March. This place has got moderate and mild climate all through the year.
