Best Time To Visit Gulmarg
The best time to visit Gulmarg is from January to March. Summers in Gulmarg primarily starts in the month of March. This time of the year is ideal for sightseeing and adventure activities as the weather and environment stay quite favorable. The temperature in the summers does not cross 29°C, hence blooming the valley in its true natural colors. All this makes Summer months the best time to visit Gulmarg. As Gulmarg is situated at a high altitude area, rainfall is not really the thing to worry about. The region receives moderate rain showers in the month of July, which continues till the starting week of August. Winters bring the best of adventure sports to Gulmarg. Usually starting from November and continuing till the end of February, winter months in this region are marked with heavy snowfall. Owing to this, the place turns out to be a hotspot for adventure sports like skiing and snowboarding. One must come packed with heavy woolens as the temperature can drop to -4° C during this time of the year.
