Giridih
Giridih is the headquarters of the Giridih district of Jharkhand state, India. The literal meaning of Giridih is the land of hills and hillocks giri, a Hindi word, means hills, and dih, another word of the local dialect, indicates lake.
Sammed Shikharji
Shikharji is located on Parasnath hill, the highest mountain in the state of Jharkhand. It is the most important Jain Tirtha for the Jains, believed to be the place where twenty of the twenty-four Jain Tirthankaras along with many other monks attained Moksha, according to Nirvana Kanda and other texts.

Best Time To Visit Giridih
Giridih has experienced dry weather, but winter in between October and March is very good and comfortable. The summer in between April and June has experienced hot and uncomfortable weather due to heavy humidity. Some time temperature may rise up to 47°C in May. July to mid-October, it is monsoon in Giridih. There has no particular peak session for tourism, but the month of October is good for all respect and the best time to visit Giridih.
