Ponmudi is a hill station in the Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala in India. It is located 55.2 km north-east of Trivandrum city at an altitude of 1100 m. Ponmudi peak is a part of the Western Ghats mountain range that runs parallel to the Arabian Sea.

Best Time To Visit Ponmundi

The best time to visit Ponmundi is from November to February. Monsoons bring heavy rains to the region, so better to avoid June till August unless you are an avid fan of rain. Expect evening rains during September and October. From November till February, the rains are less and the mist is around. So it is the best time to visit. From March till May, the weather can be hotter, and visitors will have to give a miss to the magic of mist.
