During this period, the city receives heavy rainfall especially in the months of July. Monsoon is a good season to visit Thrissur. Winter begins in Thrissur from December and remains till mid-February. The temperature of the city remains between 22°C and 30° C. The climate remains quite pleasant making it an ideal time to visit Thrissur.
