Ganesh Gully
Situated on the Shivachi tekdi, lies a narrow culvert, approx 3 feet wide, that is called Ganesh Gully. At the end of the culvert lies a Ganesh etched on the rock face to the left. During high tides, the Ganesh is submerged in the seawater. It is visible only during low tides as the Ganesh is submerged nearly 30 feet below sea level.

Best Time To Visit Karnala
December to February is the best time to visit Karnala, as the weather is pleasant with temperatures varying between 20°C and 32°C making it an ideal time to explore outdoors. During the summer months, from March to April, the temperature can escalate up to a level of 42°C and can be extremely hot and uncomfortable. Hence avoid visiting Karnala in the summer months. During the monsoon months, from July to September, Karnala experiences medium rainfall. This is the time when you can get a glimpse of songbirds such as the paradise flycatcher, the Malabar whistling thrush, and magpie robin in the Karnala Bird Sanctuary. You can also see the racket-tailed drongo.
