Umngot River

Umngot River water is so crystal clear and clean that you can see the bottom of the river and you can clearly see the shadow of the boat on the water.
Ruparsor Bathing Ghat

Ruparsor Bathing Ghat is a bathing pool and is hewn out of granite. The water which comes into the pool is through the curved trunk of an elephant fed by the Rupasor stream.
Dawki Bridge

Dawki Bridge is a suspension bridge over the Umngot River. It was constructed in 1932 by the British.
Jaintia Hills

Jaintia Hills is a mountainous region that was mainly part of Assam and Meghalaya.
Best Time To Visit Dawki

The best time to visit Dawki is after the monsoons from October to April. If you visit anytime other than that, the water is not clear.
