About Patiala
Patiala is a city in southeastern Punjab, in northern India. It is the fourth largest city in the state and is the administrative capital of Patiala district. Patiala is located around the Qila Mubarak. It was constructed by chieftain 'Baba Ala Singh', who founded the royal dynasty of the Patiala State in 1763. In popular culture, the city remains famous for its traditional PatialaShahi turban, paranda, Patiala salwar, jutti, and Patiala peg.
Qila Mubarak
Qila Mubarak located at Patiala is a rare and outstanding example of Sikh Palace architecture in India. There is a great collection of different types and sizes of mirrors in Darbaar hall.
Moti Bagh Palace
Moti Bagh Palace is a palace in Patiala. The old quarters were built in the 1840s by the Maharaja of Patiala. It was expanded in 1920 under the supervision of Sir Ganga Ram during the reign of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh.
Sheesh Mahal

Best Time To Visit Patiala
The winter months from October to March are the best time to visit Patiala. This is the time when the city experiences a very pleasant climate with temperatures dropping down to 10°C. Summers can be quite hot so avoid traveling during the summer months.
