Kota is a city on the Chambal River in Rajasthan, northern India. Inside the Kota Garh or City Palace, the Maharao Madho Singh Museum exhibits miniature paintings and antique weapons. South, along the river, tranquil Chambal Garden has a pond with crocodiles. Northeast, 18th-century Jagmandir Palace sits in the middle of Kishore Sagar Lake. Seven Wonders Park includes mini replicas of the Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal.
Kishore Sagar and Jagmandir Palace

Kishore Sagar is an artificial picturesque lake dating back to 1346 constructed by the Bundi Prince Dehra Deh. It located by the side of the attractive Brij Vilas palace museum.
Seven Wonders Park

Best Time To Visit Kota

The best time to visit Kota is during the months of October to March. Kota has a semi-arid climate with high temperatures throughout the year The pleasant winter season is the period between October and February. Temperatures lie between 14°C and 30°C making it perfect for outdoor excursions and sightseeing. The low humidity makes the outdoors even more comfortable. In essence, this is the peak tourist season for Kota, offering the perfect concoction of a comfortable climate and unquenched wanderlust. Summers in Kota start from March and last till June. The period is characterized by relentless dry heat with day time temperatures lying between 32°C and 45°C. The uncomfortable weather conditions make it inadvisable to visit Kota during the summers. Kota experiences monsoon season during the July to September months. The temperatures during this season are considerably lower with torrential rains.
