Mount Abu is a hill station in western India’s Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border. Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below. In the center of town, Nakki Lake is a popular spot for boating. Close by are the centuries-old Dilwara Temples, ornately carved from white marble and of great spiritual importance.

Best Time To Visit Mount Abu
Mount Abu is marked by a pleasant climate throughout the year. However, it depends upon the type of vacation one seeks to have in Mount Abu, and mostly plan out during the winter season. The monsoon is great for nature enthusiasts and winter for outdoor activities. In summer the days are warm here the summer season, even the evenings are comfortable and fit for outdoor activities. It is a perfect time to explore the hill station; you can go for a boat ride on the Nakki Lake and even experience the festival of Gangaur. During the monsoon season, the city receives less rainfall, however the landscape of the place changes. The view of the drenched vegetation against the misty mountains makes the entire place fresh and green. Monsoon is ideal for nature lovers, who can engage in some adventure activities like hiking, nature walk, bird watching or simply taking a stroll. It is a favorable time for the visitors, the waterfalls also provide a great view. Winter in Mount Abu is not as extreme as other hill stations, favoring almost all the tourist activities.
