Mussoorie is a hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun District of the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. This hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. Being at an average altitude of 1,880 meters, Mussoorie, with its green hills and varied flora and fauna, is a fascinating hill. Commanding snow ranges to the northeast and glittering views of the Doon Valley and Shiwalik ranges in the south, the town was once said to present a 'fairyland' atmosphere to tourists.

The summer season in Mussoorie opens arms to travelers from all over the world as it the best time to visit the place. The weather remains cool and pleasant during the day which is perfect for sightseeing at cloud’s end, kempty falls, lal tibba, bhatta falls and gun hill. Monsoons in Mussoorie bring in a moderate amount of rainfall which can lead to landslides. Traveling to the place during the monsoon season is not recommended. Mussoorie experiences heavy snowfall during winters. The weather remains chilly during this time. It is recommended to carry heavy woolens. As the days are a little sunny, you can visit attractions such as bhadraj temple, christ church, happy valley, and the mall.
