Rotterdam is a major port city in the Dutch province of South Holland. The Maritime Museum's vintage ships and exhibits trace the city's seafaring history. The 17th-century Delfshaven neighborhood is home to canalside shopping and Pilgrim Fathers Church, where pilgrims worshiped before sailing to America. After being almost completely reconstructed following WWII, the city is now known for bold, modern architecture. The iconic yellow Cube Houses rest on concrete pylons near Oude Haven, an old harbor that's now popular for dining and nightlife. The Markthal is a covered food market with a striking design. Nearby, the cable Erasmus Bridge connects the city's northern and southern halves. Rotterdam's many museums include the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, which showcases Dutch and European masterpieces. Rotterdam Zoo is home to an oceanarium and playground. Overlooking the city is Euromast, a futuristic tower with a restaurant and observation deck.
Euromast

Euromast is an observation tower in Rotterdam designed by Hugh Maaskant designed the tower for the occasion of the Floriade. Visitors can take an elevator up and enjoy the spectacular view. On a clear day, you can even see Antwerp, which is 80 kilometers away. It also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a real high tea, brunch, lunch, and dinner.
Cube Houses

Cube houses are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of living as an urban roof of high-density housing with sufficient space on the ground level since its main purpose is to optimize the space inside. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45° and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. His design represents a village within a city, where each house represents a tree, and all the houses together, a forest.
Diergaarde Blijdorp

Diergaarde Blijdorp, officially Rotterdam Zoo is a zoo located in the northwestern part of Rotterdam. Blijdorp Zoo boasts well over 180 species. It also has a shop, multiple cafes, and an information centre. It also houses a botanical garden and manages both the Dutch National Bromelia Collection and the Dutch National Primula Collection.

The museum was founded in 1883 and shows more than 1800 ethnographic objects from various cultures in Asia, Oceania, Africa, the Americas, and the Islamic heritage. Visitors can take a fascinating journey through distant civilizations and see the world through the eyes of Rotterdam’s maritime merchants and explorers.
Erasmus Bridge

Erasmusbrug is a combined cable-stayed and bascule bridge. It crosses the Nieuwe Maas in the centre of Rotterdam, connecting the north and south parts of this city, second largest in the Netherlands. The Erasmus Bridge is Rotterdam's most important landmark and is even part of the city's official logo. The bridge featured in the 1998 Jackie Chan film Who Am I.
