About Canada

Canada is a North American country stretching from the U.S. in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. Banff National Park

Banff National Park is Canada's oldest national park and encompasses 6,641 square kilometres of mountainous terrain, with many glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. Banff National Park has a subarctic climate with three ecoregions, including montane, subalpine, and alpine. The forests are dominated by Lodgepole pine at lower elevations and Engelmann spruce in higher ones below the treeline, above which is primarily rocks and ice. Mammal species such as the grizzly bear, cougar, wolverine, elk, bighorn sheep and moose are found, along with hundreds of bird species.
CN Tower

CN Tower is a 553.3 meters high concrete communications and observation tower located in Downtown Toronto. It is the ninth tallest free-standing structure in the world and remains the tallest free-standing structure on land in the Western Hemisphere. It offers spectacular views from floor-to-ceiling panoramic window walls, world-famous Glass Floor, SkyPod, and glass-fronted elevators with glass floor panels. Distillery District

Distillery District is a pedestrian-only commercial and residential district in Toronto. It is widely regarded as Canada's premier arts, culture, and entertainment destination with numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops housed within heritage buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery. The 13 acres district comprises more than forty heritage buildings and ten streets and is the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America.
Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park is a national park in Alberta and is the largest national park within Alberta's Rocky Mountains spanning 11,000 km2 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park contains the glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, springs, lakes, waterfalls, and mountains. Some of the park's scenic attractions include Mount Edith Cavell, Pyramid Lake with Pyramid Mountain, Maligne Lake, Medicine Lake, and the Tonquin Valley.
Journey Behind the Falls

Journey Behind the Falls is a popular attraction in Niagara Falls. The journey consists of an observation platform and series of tunnels near the bottom of the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian shore of the Niagara River. The tunnels and platform can be reached by elevators from the street level entrance. The two tunnels behind the waterfall and allow visitors to view water cascading in front of the open cave entrances.
Capilano Suspension Bridge

Capilano Suspension Bridge is a simple suspension bridge crossing the Capilano River in the District of North Vancouver. The current bridge is 460 feet long and 230 feet above the river. The bridge has been featured as a setting in episodes of numerous television series such as MacGyver, Sliders, The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, and Psych.
Moraine Lake

Moraine Lake is a glacially-fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometers outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta. The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. When it is full, it reflects a distinctive shade of azure blue. The unique colour is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis by surrounding glaciers.
Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is a public aquarium in Toronto. The exhibits hold more than 20,000 exotic sea and freshwater specimens from more than 450 species. The aquarium is organized into ten galleries of Canadian Waters, Rainbow Reef, Dangerous Lagoon, Discovery Centre, The Gallery, Ray Bay, Swarm: Nature by Numbers, Planet Jellies, Life Support Systems, and the Shoreline Gallery.
Casa Loma

Casa Loma is a Gothic Revival style mansion and garden in midtown Toronto that is now a historic house museum and landmark. Due to its unique architectural character in Toronto, Casa Loma has been a popular filming location for movies and television. You can see the 10,000-book library, the plant-filled conservatory complete with a marble floor and a stained glass ceiling, the 60-foot-tall Great Hall with wooden chandeliers and sculpted figures on its pillars, the beautiful gardens abounding with flowers, and the mahogany stables built with a Spanish tile floor suited for the hooves of the horses.
Maligne Lake

Maligne Lake is a lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta. The lake is famed for the colour of its azure water, the surrounding peaks, the three glaciers visible from the lake, and Spirit Island, a frequent and very famously photographed islet. The 44 km Skyline Trail, Jasper's most popular, highest, and above treeline, multi-day hike, begins at Maligne Lake and finishes near the town of Jasper.
Horseshoe Falls

Horseshoe Falls, also known as Canadian Falls, is the largest of the three waterfalls that collectively form Niagara Falls on the Niagara River along the Canada–United States border. Approximately 90% of the Niagara River, after diversions for hydropower generation, flows over Horseshoe Falls.

Montreal

Its boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal with the Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica at its centre to bohemian Plateau.
Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a Canadian city at the famous waterfalls of the same name, linked with the U.S. by the Rainbow Bridge. Its site on the Niagara River's western shore overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, the cascades' most expansive section. Elevators take visitors to a lower, wetter vantage point behind the falls. A cliffside park features a promenade alongside 520-feet high Skylon Tower with an observation deck.
