The interior designers did a magnificent job creating an outrageous and flashy ambiance. The balcony above the dance floor commands a great view. Some nights are reserved for special themes so keep an eye open for the flyers or call the club in advance. Admission varies depending on the night and type of party.

5. Café Local: Café Local is one of the most luxurious Dance sites of Antwerp. The tasteful interior brings back Cuban memories from the first half of the 20th century. The dancing has its location on Wales Kaia, a neighborhood where restaurants, dancing’s, museums, antique and art-shops go hand in hand. On Thursdays there is free entrance. The DJs will give you the time of your life and make you dance on RnB, dance and disco. On Fridays and Saturdays clubs or companies throw big parties. If you are a salsa-merengue lover, you’ve got to go to the salsa evenings and experience “el rime client”.

6. Café Carbon: Café Carbon is a café/pub with live music events in the evenings. It’s the perfect intimate space for listening to some great music, and enjoying an alcoholic beverage. 7. Publics: One club for different party nights with different themes. Every Thursday night there’s Canoe Soirée with the better party-trash music, mixed by famous DJ’s. Every Saturday black dance grooves on Couleurs Danvers night hosted by national and international DJ’s.

8. De Muse: The Muse is the place to be if you like live jazz music: almost every evening there’s a concert. The mood of this unique pub in the old center of Antwerp attracts a happy crowd of all ages. With its bare brick walls, large counter and intricate architecture, this old building radiates a charming warmth that few pubs have. Many Antwerp artists come here to muse upon the spectacle and have a few good beers, for example draught Grim Bergen Trappist beer, to help them along. The owners also serve various hot and cold snacks.

9. Via Via : Via Via is a traveler’s pub for all you people who enjoy travelling and dreaming about exotic destinations. Only one thing to watch out for: the tram.

But from around ten the premises becomes an increasingly happier drinking spot revolving around the theme of Spain, and where Spanish sparkling wines and local Antwerp beers go hand in hand. Sangria, Malaga, Sherry, Porto and other specialties are poured from nine barrels. And after midnight the atmosphere reaches a crescendo because then there is dancing to salsa, merengue and flamenco music. An ideal spot if you cherish your Spanish or South American holiday or home memories.
