Itinerary
Day 1
Nairobi
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, after you disembark off the flight, clear with immigrations and custom procedures. You will be then met by our representative and transferred to Hemmingways Hotel.
Day 2
Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp. Have lunch at the camp and then enjoy game drive in the park. Set on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro River and neighboring the Buffalo Springs National Park, Samburu National Reserve is characterised by a spectacular landscape of rugged hills, undulating plains, and riverine forests. The park is home to abundant wildlife including a variety of rare species such as the reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Grevy's Zebra, and Beisa Oryx. Visitors can also enjoy spotting over 900 elephants, a variety of predators, and over 450 bird species. The ancient culture of the Samburu people is still alive here, and it is possible to see two unique customs firsthand. In the first, watch as herds of cattle respond to each man’s individual voice as they call. In the second, see the tribesmen perform incredible dances that go back hundreds of years.
Day 3
Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Day 4
Masai Mara
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Masai Mara. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp. In the afternoon enjoy game drive in the park. The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The image of acacia trees dotting endless grass plains epitomises Africa for many, then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further. The undeniable highlight of the Masai Mara National Reserve is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration traversing the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. It is known as the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet with more than a million animals following the rains. Large prides of lions, herds of elephants, as well as giraffes, gazelles, and eland can also be spotted in the reserve. Aside from horse riding safaris and traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains has become almost essential.
Day 5
Masai Mara
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park. The Olare Motorogi Conservancy is an 85 square kilometer expanse of prime private wilderness in southwest Kenya, part of the Maasai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem and wildlife dispersal zone. The conservancy lies immediately to the northwest of the main Maasai Mara Reserve. Tourism is limited to a maximum of 94 beds which maximizes the client's wilderness experience and minimizes the environmental impact of tourism. Open hills provide a habitat for a diverse range of grazers, including giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, and warthogs. These herds attract large numbers of predators, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. In between the hills run a number of small seasonal streams, fringed by stretches of forest which are home to a broader range of species including baboons, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and leopards.
Day 6
Masai Mara
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park.
Day 7
Southern Serengeti
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Kogatende (Via Migori / Tarime). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp. Have lunch at the camp and then enjoy game drive in the park. The Serengeti together with Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park form Africa’s most famous wildlife park. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many, and then add a Masai warrior and some cattle to the picture, and the conversation need go no further. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet with more than a million animals following the rains. But that is not where the game viewing ends large prides of lions, elephants, and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles, and eland to mention but a few. Aside from traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Serengeti plains has become almost essential, and you can even do a horse riding safari.

Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-listed crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the world-renowned Big Five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest.
